Over the course of two weeks, the tour will connect multiple coastal communities through a series of local events, networking sessions, and outreach activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Objectives of the TNT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Trade Navigation Tour aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Co-design a roadmap<\/strong> for fishing tourism and local development with the <strong>Atlantic Network Advisory Board<\/strong>, through seminars, product showcases, business forums, and heritage events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Demonstrate the value of fisheries diversification<\/strong>, by showcasing real-life examples of tourism-driven revitalisation and local tradition sharing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Raise awareness<\/strong> among coastal stakeholders, especially tourism offices and public authorities, about the potential of blue entrepreneurship and sustainable fisheries-based activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Promote blue economy start-ups and SMEs<\/strong>, helping them reach new audiences and connect with regional partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Encourage youth engagement<\/strong> through talks and workshops in schools, focusing on maritime heritage and entrepreneurial opportunities in the blue economy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foster transnational cooperation<\/strong>, reinforcing shared strategies to promote sustainable tourism across Atlantic countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enhance social acceptance<\/strong> of fisheries diversification and the benefits it brings to communities and ecosystems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Route and Key Destinations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The TNT will include stops in the following locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>France<\/strong>: Concarneau, Le Guilvinec, Lorient, Etel and Quiberon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spain<\/strong>: Viveiro, Burela, Vilagarc\u00eda de Arousa, San Cibrao, Baiona and A Guarda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Portugal<\/strong>: Viana do Castelo, Caminha and Esposende<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"656\" height=\"820\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fisatur.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/FisaturProject_TNTmap.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fisatur.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/FisaturProject_TNTmap.jpg 656w, https:\/\/www.fisatur.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/FisaturProject_TNTmap-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 656px) 100vw, 656px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each location will host targeted events such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Public presentations and demonstrations of FISATUR-supported projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regional forums and stakeholder meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>School outreach activities promoting maritime awareness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultural programmes highlighting local fisheries and tourism heritage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Strengthening cooperation and visibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By fostering collaboration between public authorities, businesses, educational institutions, and civil society, the TNT will activate local ecosystems and strengthen the FISATUR Atlantic Network.
